Pierce/Wharton Research provides Agile project management and technical consulting services to support software development and IT infrastructure projects. Clients include pharmaceutical, bio-med, logistics, and other industries that utilize managed services and solutions consulting vendors.

Agile Transformation

Well-versed in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) software development frameworks. Manage backlog development (Epics, Features, Stories, Acceptance Criteria) Track sprint burn-up, burn-down, velocity, capacity, and resource utilization using a variety of tools. Create dashboards for stakeholder communications. Mentor and coach teams in Agile transformations on best practices, processes, and tools.

Project Management

Consulted with business units such as Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing to define business processes for current and future states. Managed overall project organization (full PMBOK SDLC for enterprise PMOs) to ensure scope, timeline, budget and communications plans are documented and approved by all stakeholders.

Technical Consulting

Assist enterprise and COE clients and their executive teams with CapEx, feasibility, planning and proposals for strategic IT infrastructure projects and road maps. Write business case, perform cost/benefit analysis, calculate ROI, define milestones. (CapEx <$15m). Consult with executive stakeholders to define portfolio assessment criteria, set priorities, document risks and dependencies.
